Whenever Has just started new Survivor key As a more premium option for regular regular in India LackIt is essentially a facelift of the corerity, which means that it finds a slight variation in a new interior with more features, a new interior and the powertrain line-up. The new clavis does not replace the old Caren, and the two models will be sold with each other. So, let’s look closely as to what sets the new Kia Carrens Clavis from regular core.
Kia Key vs Electricity External Design
Sharper, more EV-like design
As specific to most facelifts, the updates of the corerity clavis are only for soft parts – it contains new headlamps and tail lamps, new bumpers and alloy wheels.
Kia Key vs. Carrens Front Quarter
The fascia adopts the latest design language of Kia with a new triangular headlamp design and a three-pod lighting element, especially on its EVS-EV5. There is also a new reverse L-shaped LED day-time running lamp signature that spreads the width of MPV and falls into the headlamps. The bumper on the clavis has a distant cleaner look, chrome on the chin area is replaced with a silver satin finish and more generous use of black plastic cladding. Meanwhile, cars separate itself with a contrasting black trim around the headlamps and grill region.
In the profile, the only notable change is a new design for dual-tone alloy wheels that now have a size larger at 17-inch (only 16-inch wheels to top-space cars), and a more major brush silver trim in side door cladding. At the back, tail lamps are faster on clavis and new LED detailing. The band connecting the two units is now illuminated on the clavis, and the bottom, the bumper garnish is more prominent.
Kia Key vs Carnival Side Profile
Kia Key vs. Carnival Internal part
More upmarket interior, big screen
Updates of the interior are more notable because Clavis adopts a new floating, connected screen setup, and requires a full redesign of the dashboard. Meanwhile, the cousin has a dashboard integrated touchscreen and a separate digital instrument cluster. The screen is also quite in size-12.3-inch on Clavis, unlike 10.25 inches on Karen. Another difference is that the cars have a gloss finish for the dashboard, while the clavis gets matte texture.
There is also a new HVAC control panel with switchable AC and infotainment functions on Hyundai Verna, and is a new two-spoke steering wheel from Siros. Kia has also used ambient lighting for a different effect on clavis and has a slightly different use of new seat upholstery and colors and textures. Center console, however, is largely the same on both models, and both are also introduced in 6-seats and 7-seat configurations.

Kia Key vs. Carnival features
Clavis additionally panoramic sunroof and ADAS suit
On the equipment front, Clavis adds a lot of features on the cores. In addition to the new screen above, the most notable update is that clavises receive a panoramic sunroof opposite the single-pillar unit on the cars. In addition, it also gets a 4-way electrical adjustable driver seat and an Adas suit that brings adaptive cruise control, front bump assistance, lane assist, and more.
Their top-spec trim includes front ventilated seats for both MPVs, electric tumbal function for second row, dual centers, wireless charger, second-strength fold out tray table, 360-degree camera, bose sound system, connected tech, OTA update, drive modes, 6 aircrafts, 6 airbags and ESCs.
Kia Key vs. Carnival Paurtrain Options
An additional gearbox option with turbo-petrol engine on clavis
On the engine front, both Clavis and Carrence get three engine options-a 115hp, 1.5-liter petrol, a 116hp, 1.5-liter diesel engine and a 160hp, 1.5-liter turbo-patrol. However, Clavis goes up one by offering three gearbox options with turbo-petrol engine-one 6-speed MT, a 6-speed IMT and 7-speed DCT-while the cores offers only two later. Naturally aspirated petrol is common for 6-speed manual and 6-speed manual for diesel and both for automatics. Kia has also confirmed that an all-electric powertrain option will be offered with Carrence Clavis in the near future, although the same is not likely on regular cars.
Kia Key vs Carnival Rear Quarter
Overall, the Carrence Clavis has a more modern design and premium interiors with some new features and an additional powertrain option, but given the similarity between the two models, a large price between the two models is likely to be overlap. Kia is expected to declare prices for the new Carrens Clavis at the end of this month, and it is expected to have a slight premium on a regular version equal to the regular core. Both these models go against the choice of Maruti Ertiga and XL6 and Toyota Ramian in the mid-size MPV category.
