Alpinestars Supertech M10 Helmet Review, Price, Ventilation, Relaxation – Introduction – Introduction

Supertech M10 is a top level MX helmet with some new features.

When you are late for the game, the best way to enter is with innovation. The Elpinstars did exactly when they came to the motorcycle helmet market with SM10 about six years ago. Recently after retiring my ex-GPX 5.5 (another innovative product), after going to this helmet, there is a lot of out-of-the-box thinking that I have appreciated.

Snap-fit peak mechanism of M10 is convenient.

For the beginning, I love the way I flush peak fit with Shell. The safety advantage is that the smooth interface leaves a edge or fasteners to catch on the ground in the decline, but the major benefit for me is a unique snap-fit fastening system. It does not contain any screws, and you can simply pull the summit or snap it back in place, which is a big feature if you travel with helmets regularly. The negative side of this design is that the position of the peak is not adjustable.

The M10 liner has speaker cutouts.

Other good touch includes speaker pockets and a three-way adjustable headband that can slightly adjust the angle on which the helmet sits on your head. There are grooves in internal EPS liner for you to root a drink tube neatly from a hydration bladder. Asters have also increased the EPS liner under the cutout of the outer shell in the collarbone area. This is to reduce the possibility of common injuries when the helmet hits collarbone in an accident.

Like several off-road helmets, it also uses a variation of a MIPS (multi-directional impact security system) technology. This enables a small amount of rotational slip between the outer shell and the internal liner, which is considered to reduce the possibility of consumed and other brain/neck injuries. The shell is produced in a three-composed material that uses carbon fibers, carbon composites and Aramid fibers. Weighing in 1,180 grams, it was considered in the middle ground a few years ago, but it is now quite light with today’s strict security standards.

The helmet has a large number of all vents (I counted 28!), And as you expect, the airflow is fantastic. The vision port is also very large, which means that you should be able to fit a large pair of glasses without any issue. Comfort padding is completely removable and washable, and it uses an interesting fastening system, where you first align the button and then slide them in place. Once it detects it works well.

The M10 liner has extraordinary ventilation.

With the circumference of a head of 56.5 cm, I am in the land of No Man between Size S and M, I went with S. I used to usually with other brands, but I find it a bit tight. Esters have 5 mm thin cheek cheeks pads that I am eager to try, but I suspect that it may be to go for M shape (which uses a large shell) and then choose the option of 5 mm thick cheek pads. Just one more reminiscent of why you should always try before buying.

Between the USD 650 and the USD 800, this helmet is equivalent to the competition from top rival brands. M10 ship with a spare peak and a bag that is enough to set a pair of glasses and even a jersey and pants without armor. While the helmet is very well built, a shorter difference can still be achieved in terms of final quality and luxurious than something like an Arai. But in the words of pure performance, this helmet is luxurious, and it can justify its price.
