Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI), whose domestic scooter is strangling the market, continued its dominance of the export scooter market with shipments under only 3.12 lakh units. It turns into a strong 35 percent yoy development – adding more than 80,000 units in 2.31 lakh units of FY2024.

Honda takes 25 percent stake in total exports
More than 5.69 lakh units, exports of Indian scooters increased a new high in FY15. They were led by Honda and its bandh-in-India Navi scooter, with over 1.43 million units, 25 percent of the total foreign shipment. Out of the top 10 most exported scooters, Honda has three models, while Suzuki, TVS Motor Cum And Hero MotoCorp Two is each, and Yamaha One.

Honda Dio The top 10 scale with more than 1.27 lakh units is second, and is followed by ActivaIndia’s best -selling scooter, however, ranks low (number 5) in demand for exports with over 41,000 units.
125cc Yamaha ReThe export is at number 3 with more than 68,000 units, and is followed by that Tvs ntorq 125 With only 65,000 units, which recorded flat exports.
125cc Suzuki Bergman It was exported below only 34,000 units, which dropped it from fourth place to sixth position in FY14.
TVS JupiterThe company’s best -selling scooter in India is at number seven on the export scale. The figures were more than just more than 19,000 units, pulling it below the fifth rank in FY2024.
