After teasing them first in the week, Honda CB650R (Rs 9.60 lakh) and e-clutch variants of CBR650R (Rs 10.40 lakh) have been launched. Both variants are more expensive by Rs 40,000 more than their standard counterparts.

Both bikes weigh 2.8 kg compared to base model
Honda CB650R and CBR650R are similar to standard bikes, saving for its innovative clutch systems, which allows the rider to come to a stop, and moves away from a standstill without operating the clutch. The clutch lever is not left on these e-clutch variants, and whenever they choose, rider can take manual control.
The standard versions of CB650R and CBR650R as well as their e-clutch variants are powered by the same liquid-cooled, 649cc inline four-cylinder engine, producing 95hp and 63Nm at 12,000rpm. The 6-speed gearbox and its proportion are similar between the bike, and the only difference is how you operate it. The feature-set on the rest of the chassis and also on the e-clutch bike is similar to the standard versions and only in terms of inter-weight. The e-clutch system adds 2.8kg to total weight.
Both CB and CBR are available in two color options – Black and Red – and Booking are now open to two e -chloch Honda 650. Currently, CB650R and CBR650R E clutch variants are one of the very few bikes in India, available with a ‘assisted’ clutch system, only other BMW R1300 GS models.
