With this facelift, EV gets a new, large 84kwh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery, replacing the old 77.4kwh unit. This new battery is not only more energy-toilet, but also light. The WLTP range has increased to 581 km, up to 53 km.

Effectively Real world situationWe managed a joint range of 498 km, close to the official figure. City driving received a efficiency of 5.18 km/kwh, which translates to a useful range of about 435 km. Interestingly, highway efficiency was even better at 6.67 km/KWH, providing a range of about 560 km. However, it is worth noting that the environment temperature rose to 12 degrees during our city’s run, which meant that AC was working hard to keep the cabin cool, affecting efficiency. In addition, while we used the region braking in level 3 (out of 4) in the city, it was not strong enough to bring the car to a full stop and not much.

On the outside, changes in EV6 are subtle but impressive. The most noticeable update is the new headlights, which now has a hook-like LED DRL signature, adding futuristic appeal, and a full-warding LED strip connecting the headlights. There are new bumpers at both ends and a fresh design for 19 -inch alloy wheels. The modest tweex for LED elements in the rear lightbar further refines the appearance. Under the skin, it is based on the e-GMP skateboard platform, with its advanced 800 V electrical architecture, shared with Hyundai Ionic 5. The EV6 remains a sufficient car, which measures in a length of about 4.7 meters and a width of 1.9 meters, with a generous 2.9-meter wheelbase.

KIA EV6 Interior Space & Comfort – 8/10

Common front seats have heating, ventilation and a zero-gurutva mode; The rear seat is quite wide for three adults, but you are sitting in a position of a knee.

2025 Kia EV6 Rear Seats

The rear is huge for three, but you are sitting on your knees.

Step inside, and you will find that the cabin retains its familiar layout but with some updates. A more traditional three-spoke steering wheel replaces the old two-spoke unit, the dashboard gets a new texture, and the screen gets new software and a user interface.

The twin 12.3-inch high-definition screen is crisp and spontaneous, with logically organized menu. When they work smoothly, they are prone to reflections, and new minimum subjects, although modern, may look slightly rare. It is also worth noting that the fingerprint scanner seen in Auto Expo 2025 is absent in the version on sale.

2025 Kia EV6 Touchscreen Infotainment

The new UI is easy to use, is logically placed, and follows a minimum subject.

The level of rest is high, especially in front seats, which provide firm but supporting cushioning. A standout feature is a zero-gurutva mode, allowing those in front to allow completely recurrence and rest when the car is stable. The rear bench is enough to adjust three adults easily. There is enough knee and headroom, and the backrest recurrence for extra comfort. However, thigh support is compromised due to the high floor, and the window blind is given a miss.

The boot space stands at a respectable 490 liters, but the compartment is shallow. There is also a front, although it is smaller than 20 liters.

The performance is strong and feels comfortable to drive; The noise of air and road is well included.

EV6 continues with the same double-motor setup, which produces 325hp and 605Nm. The claimed 0-100kph is 5.3Sec (only 0.1Sec slow compared to earlier), but we quickly managed 5.16Sec in our test. The roll-on acceleration is also impressive, with a dispatch in 20–80kph 2.77Sec and 40–100kph in 3.49Sec. Performance, then, remains a strong suit.

EV6 seems to be very natural to drive, thanks to the well -calculated acceleration. Unlike the EVS of the old, the EV6 serves its power in a progressive manner rather than a large part, which adds disability. The all-wheel-drive system also ensures excellent traction, which helps in bringing electricity down effectively. Drive mode changes the behavior of the car – softens the reactions to maximize Eco efficiency, sport everything sharpens, and allows individual drivers to customize settings for their priority.

2025 Kia EV6 Corner

When it comes to riding and handling, EV6 creates a good balance. Around the corners, it seems confident and composed, with a level of good grip. Steering provides decent weight in the game, although it lacks response.

Despite riding on a 19 -inch wheels, the EV6 maintains a good ride comfort. It can feel a touch firm at low speed, but resides well as you go fast, a luxurious and exploitative ride. There are some vertical movements at high speed, but they are well included. The cabin insulation is impressive, also, at least with air or road noise.

On the security front, it has 8 airbags, a 360-degree camera and a broad ADAS suit. This includes adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking and lane-keip assist. Additionally, the EV6 supports both vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-Tund (V2L) functions, allowing it to charge other EVs or power external devices.
