Hardcore Ferrari 296 Special Brake Cover

Ferrari Only the new 296 Spaceial Cup and Aperta have been unveiled, which has joined a reputed lineage of the special version Ferrari Berlintas, Challenge Stradel, follows the footsteps of 430 Skuderia, 458 special And 488 track – Cars that have not only earned a reputation for increase in performance, but also have their increased driving participation.

Like its predecessors, 296 special standard is made on car-in this case, 296 GTB-power increases, weight loss and track-centric upgrade. The result is the purpose of a car on the most committed drivers of the brand.

  1. Ferrari is the first V6 plug-in hybrid in the 296 Special Edition Series
  2. 50hp produces more power and is 60 kg lighter than regular 296 GTB
  3. Customer delivery to start in the first quarter of 2026

Ferrari 296 Special: Headline Number

The most powerful rear-drivers Ferrari Road Car

The total power has increased to 880hp, 50HP benefits on GTB, it has become the most powerful rear-driving Ferrari road car ever. Aerial changes are equally important. The downforce is up 20 percent compared to GTB, with 435kg at 250kph. Loss of weight has been another major focus. In a 60 kg lighter compared to GTB, 296 spaceial has carbon-fiber bodywork, titanium engine parts and a parades-down interior. The result is just a weight of 1,410 kg (follicle), which translates 1.6 kg per horsepower to a class-agni power-to-weight ratio-a record for rear-drive Ferrari.

The special regular regular produces 20 percent more downforce than 296 GTB.

Even more importantly, the company says that this is their best expression of ‘driving fun’, which has pushed boundaries with five major aspects of the car – lateral grip, acceleration, gear shift, braking and, significantly, sound.

Reaching four years later of regular 296, the latest Ferrari special version is also called ‘Spaceial’, like 458 for two generations. Ferrari says its fans called this model when it was under development, and so the brand chose it to stick it and make it a ‘Special’ Monicer Officer.

Ferrari 296 Special Engine and Speaks

Hybrid powertrain continues to connect a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 with an electric motor, but both components have been largely extended. The electric motor now develops up to 315Nm and 180hp when the emanettino switch on the steering wheel is set on ‘merit’. This gives a bounce of torque between “additional boost” function gear shifts, which in turn, allows Ferrari to retired the 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox for rapid, difficult changes that hits with even more immediary.

The engine cover ends a new darkness.

The V6 engine retains its specific 120-degree architecture and hot-way configurations, tucking the turbos within the cylinder banks for more compact and responsible setups. The combustion engine alone now produces 700hp-37hp growth on 296 GTB-one-MEC 296 challenge series courtesy of race-bored upgrade. These include titanium con-rods, a lighter crankshaft and strong piston, while a formula 1-retired knock-control system allows the engine to run safely to its limit.

Ferrari claims that 296 GTB may sprink from 0 to 100kph in 2.8 seconds (0.1 seconds faster than regular 296), and 0 to 200kph comes surprisingly in 7 seconds.

Mounted electric motor between the engine and gearbox, also recharge the 7.45kwh high-voltage battery, initiates internal combustion engine and enables an electric-skill range of up to 25 km. The motor from a dedicated clutch engine originally decides to switch between four drive mode: Adrive, hybrid, performance and merit.

The carbon-fiber center console gets the iconic ‘shift gate’ element for 8-speed DCT.

Wat-sewing measures extend to the powertrain, which is about 9 kg lighter compared to the standard 296 GTB. Most of this comes from adopting titanium connecting rods (shared with liexerry), a mild crankshaft, turbocharger was re -designed, and strong, lighter piston. Ferrari has increased the compression ratio by 7 percent, depicting heavily from the lessons learned in 296 challenges and 499P race programs.

Finally, the exhaust regularly retains 296 equivalent header and single tailPype layout, but now it benefits from new acoustic tubules that increase high frequencies, leading to the special to give even more thrilling soundtracks on the high raves.

Ferrari 296 Special Aerodynamics & Cooling

296 challenges and aerodynamics obtained from FXX K race cars

Bodywork and aero changes are most clear in the rear, where 296 Spaceial has a completely new aerodynamic profile. New vertical feathers on the edges of the bumper adap the wake management and reduce the drag; It also decreases upwards, producing additional downforce along the horizontal surface profiles. These aerodynamics have been obtained from 296 challenges and FXX K respectively, and are included in the same unit respectively.

Rear vertical feathers are the most distinctive aerodynamics at 296 spaceial.

These new side winglets work together with active central spiilers who now get a very fast actuator for infection between high and low downfores configurations. There is also a new “medium downfores” setting to bridge the gap between drag reduction and full downfores. The rear defuser and underbody ventric tunnels have also been extended for better downforce.

On the front, the bonnet has a new duct that helps the channel from the top of the body to the air from the top of the body – again, a feature obtained from the 296 challenge. In addition, there are excess flavs on the sides, aero wings on the edges of the bumper and the bottom of the car and around the car to adapt airflows.

Air intake has been increased by 12 percent on the front bumper for better cooling.

For additional power, 296 specials also required additional cooling. Ferrari has done a lot of work to get out the heat without increasing the size of the radiators. For this, it increased the air intake on the new front bumper to 12 percent, eliminating the central aperture in the front undertare and transferred the lateral flans forward. Ferrari has also increased the size of air ducts that include the headlamps and brakes in the channel air, which also improves its cooling performance.

Ferrari 296 Special Suspension & Breaking

Stifer Suspension Setup, 5 mm Less Ride Height

296 Spaceyale uses a new shock absorber obtained from 296 GT3 and titanium springs to reduce overall weight. Spring and sponge settings have been modified, so the car rides 5 mm less than 296 GTB. However, it has helped reduce the maximum roll angle when cornering is up to 13 percent, which has improved the handling of the car. Anyone can choose a suspension-lift system for use on poor roads.

For braking, special uses what Ferrari ABS says to Evo Controller System. The system essentially uses various sensors to detect the effective motion of the car, which then uses with great accuracy, which is then used to determine a target slipping price for each wheel and to adapt to brake force distribution more effectively.

Ferrari 296 Special: External and Internal

The design is directed by aerial and weighing requirements

As extended above, the styling of 296 specials is largely directed by its aerodynamic and performance needs. The front bonnet is more sculpture, the bumper has a long, suspended splitter, and there are additional wing elements on the sides of the bumper. Then, there are laverase on the edges of the bonnet – these have become a signature of the Ferrari Special Edition model. The rear, new side winglets on one side, 296 specials also get a broad, black carbon-fiber strip incorporating tail-lights. The engine cover at the back ends a darkness and is hidden by a metal mesh. There is a new five-spoke dual-tone design for alloy wheels.

The bonnet duct channel helps the air from under the car to the top of the body.

Additionally, to save some and weight, customers can opt for front and rear bumpers, engine compartments and alloy wheels to end in carbon fibers. Ferrari is also offering a beespoke new Varde Nürburgring external paint shed, which can be with one or two racing strips that expand the length of the car, as well as a racing number of choice from 00 to 99.

The interior of 296 Special will be familiar with any modern Ferrari, except that it is sorted extensively in carbon fiber and alkantara. Ferrari has modified the door trim, now built from a block of carbon-fiber and has a more minimal design. The center console, also, is fully made of carbon fiber and has a raised surface for control. It also provides bucket seats with four-point harness (aperta gets three-point harness).

The interior gets new racing bucket seats with four-point harness.

Ferrari 296 Special Launch Details
