Tvs IQUBE 2.2 Testing and explained of Real World Range

The base IQUBE 2.2kwh comes with a battery and a claim 75 km Real World Range.

Tvs Recently re -presented the 2.2KWH version in the IQUBE lineup and it is now the initial point in the range. In 1 lakh rupees (East-Shorroom, Bengaluru), it is one of the cheapest electric scooters in India. Now we have subjected to TVS IQUBE 2.2 to our real world range test, and the results are as follows.

  1. TVS IQUBE has 2.2KWH Li-ion battery and a hub-mounted motor
  2. The real-world range is 59.1 km in ‘Power’, 76.4 km in ‘Eco’
  3. 650W charger means quick charging time of 3hr24min

TVS Iqube 2.2 Real World Range

The 2.2kwh battery of IQUBE sends power to a Bldc hub-mounted motor, forcing a torque of 4.4KW and 33Nm. TVS claims that Iqube 2.2 may claim a claim 75 km, but in our range tests, the scooter actually covered a distance of 76.4 km, 76.4 km in Eco mode. In power mode, where the range indicator on the dash shows 60 km, the scooter went for 59.1 km before running out of the charge.

Iqube 2.2 has regenerative braking and we left it for the period of our test in both our mode. At 110kg, Iqube 2.2 is one of the lightest e-scooters around all around, which would have helped to remove this range number. In addition, its motor is not a performance-oriented, meaning that it will not remove the battery too much when you open the accelerator.

The ECO mode limits you to 45kph and has gentler acceleration compared to power mode, but still, it is perfectly usable and you can climb the flyover on a pillian ship without a hurdle. Power mode has more energetic acceleration and allows you to hit the 75kph top speed claimed. Since Iqube 2.2 comes with 650W charger, a flat takes 3hr24min to complete the battery, which is one of the fastest time in the e-scooter market today.

Autocar India’s range testing

Before our real world range test, our two-wheeler batteries are fully charged on the test, and we maintain the pressure of the tire recommended by the manufacturer. The two-wheelers are operated in a certain loop in the city and the highway (for the electric bikes who are able to do so), and we maintain some average speed following the speed range. The vehicle runs until the battery is completely dried and it stops or does not move even when the screen is turned on.
