Depending on our real-world tests, here is a look at Fuel-efficiency data of Turbo-Petrol Manual, Automatic and Diesel-Automatic versions of Kia Siros.
Kia Siros Slot between midsize Seltos And sub -4 -meter Sonnet In the Indian line-up of Kia. With its boxy design, Siros aims to maximize cabin space and practicality. Additionally, it provides a comprehensive feature list, several powertrain options and pricing, which ranges from Rs 9.50 lakh to Rs 17.80 lakh, which loves buyers very much.

Under the hood, the sub-4-meter cirros is operated by either 120hp, 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder, direct-injection turbo-petrol engine, which is available with 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic or 116hp, 1.5-letting a 1.5-liter turbo-dial engine. This review focuses on fuel focus, which is based on the turbo-petrol manual and the real world testing of automated and diesel-automatic variants.
Before enlightening in efficiency figures, it is worth noting that the cirros built on the reinforced K1 platform of Kia, compared to Sonet is about 85–95 kg of heavy; They share powertrain, but are later lined by the lighter K2 platform.
Kia Siros explained real world fuel efficiency
While automatic variants provide selective drive mode like an eco mode, neither the version comes with automatic engine stop-start, which can help reduce fuel consumption when deactivating. Kia claims the fuel efficiency figures of 18.20kpl for turbo-petrol manual, 17.68kpl for turbo-petrol automatic, and 17.65kpl for diesel-automatic.
However, in our city tests, the turbo-petrol manual returned only 9.10kpl, while the automatic gave another less 8.30kpl, which was much below the segment average. Diesel-automatic performed a little better, achieving 10.80kpls.

The highway efficiency of the short-gier’s turbo-automatic version was only 11.50kpl, while the manual version was marginally better at 12.60kpl. For reference, hovering at 100kph, the turbo-automatic engine is moving at 2,200rpm in the seventh gear, while the turbo-manual is at 2,400rpm in the sixth. Once again, the diesel-automatic highway fuel efficiency was better than the Turbo-Petrol version, the refund of 13.60KPl. The diesel-automatic engine rotates at 100kph at 2,000rpm in the sixth gear.
Autocar India’s fuel efficiency test
Prior to our real -world fuel efficiency tests, we fill the tank of our test cars up to the brim and maintain tire pressure based on the manufacturer’s recommendation. These cars are operated in and around Navi Mumbai in and around the fixed city and highway loops, and we maintain some average speed. During trials, each car has only one person, running aircraft and other electricals, such as audio systems, indicators and wipers, when necessary, like a regular user. The periodic driver swap drivers neutralizes more variation in the driver pattern. At the end of each cycle, we reconcile the tanks and calculate the efficiency.
