Prices for second generation Skoda Kodiak An announcement will be made in India on 17 April. The new Skoda Kodiak will be introduced in two trims – lauren and clue (L&K) and Sportline. It comes with new external styling, which is a new interior with more features and will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine. There is a brief here what to expect.

At the back, the C-shaped tail lamps are connected to a light bar that spreads the width of the tail gate. The new Kodiak rides on 18 -inch wheels as standard.

Kodiak Sportline receives black-out external garnish.
Lauren and cleans and sportsline trims are mainly set separately by a black-out treatment for subsequent-Grill, D-Pillar Garnish and rear bumper get black-out finish instead of silver on lauren and clue. Sportline also receives a sports design for alloy wheels.

Inside, the new Kodiaq’s dashboard has a winged design, with a 13-inch free-flotting touchscreen infotainment with the center stage. There is also a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, a new two-spoke steering wheel with ‘Skoda’ lettering, and three rotary dials for HVAC control that are also configured for other functions.

In terms of features, the new Kodiak gets a 3-zone climate control, operated front seats, a panorrhetic sunroof, 360-degree camera, park assist and warm/ventilated front seats with massage function on L&C trims. Sportline trim misses on heating/ventilation and massage functions, but instead of sports bucket seats.

204hp, 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine is available
Under the hood, the new Kodiak gets a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 204hp and 320Nm torque. The engine is placed in a 7-speed DCT gearbox and is the all-wheel drive standard. The new Kodiak has a ARAI-cleaned fuel efficiency of 14.86kpl.

The wheelbase of Kodiak remains unchanged, but the total length has increased by 59 mm.
As before, the new Kodiak will be assembled locally in India, and we hope the prices will be around 45 lakh rupees (east-shapes). On launch, it will see competition from choice Jeep meridian, Hyundai Tuxon And upcoming Volkswagen Tiguan R Line,
